Ohio State was recently awarded $21.4 million in additional federal emergency funds for students as part of the 2021 Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA). These funds are in addition to $21.4 million from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act to help mitigate financial impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. These emergency funds will be used to assist students experiencing financial hardships caused by the pandemic. In addition to the federal funds, the university also has set aside a portion of university donor funds to assist with this emergency.
